Fledglings News - 17th March 2023

The Fledglings have enjoyed an exciting week in the classroom in the buildup to 'Bring Mummy to School Day'. We have been busy preparing special cards and enjoyed baking muffins as a small gift to give to them!

On Friday we welcomed our Mummies into the classroom and had a lot of fun getting creative and designing our Easter bonnets together in preparation for our parade next week. They were all so impressive and we can’t wait to show them off!

Even with all the excitement of Mother’s Day we also enjoyed our regular classroom activities including construction with the Magnatiles, watercolour painting, a hairdressers role play and Maths and Literacy focused games. We also spent time One to One with the children extending their skills whilst working with an individualised plan based on their current skills. The children love spending this individual time with their teachers and if offers a great opportunity to extend their learning on a one to one basis..

We had a fabulous time on the common again and took pots, pans, spoons and cars for the children to use, developing cooperative play, turn taking and building their imaginations.

We are wishing everyone a very happy and restful Mother’s Day!
